Top Boy is one of the best British crime dramas of all time, which if you didn't know is a gritty TV show set in the fictional housing estate of Summerhouse in Hackney, East London.
The show centres around two drug dealers, Dushane (Ashley Walters) and Sully (Kane Robinson), along with other shady characters involved in gang violence and drug dealing in London.
This was no easy feat, but we rank the cast of Top Boy.

10. Modie
Rapper Dave
Portrayed by UK rapper Dave, Modie was the secondary antagonist in Season 3. He was a hot-headed, former leader of the London Fields gang who some fans at one point thought was an older Ra'Nell.
Serving time for 18 years, he is the cousin to Leyton who he gave leadership to run tings while locked away, until Jamie took over which pissed him off immensely. He was also mortal enemies with Sully, who he had problems with in prison.
After escaping prison with the help of Sully's cousin Jermaine, eventually Modie would be shot to death by police while on the run.
9. Kieron Palmer

Kieron was a high ranking drug dealer within Sully and Dushane's crew as well as Jac's right hand man. However in the final season, Kieron's loyalty to his best friend would cost him dearly.
When Jaq decided to quit the game and stole two large bags of Sully’s drugs with the idea of getting rid of them, she implicated Kieron, who had to lie to protect her. However lying to Sully of all people wasn't the brightest idea.
8. Jermaine Newton

UK Rapper Bashy aka Ashley Thomas, portrays Jermaine, Sully's cousin and estranged family member who is kidnapped by Sully and his former lackey, who were initially hired to kill him.
In a stroke of luck Sully spares his life, however Jermaine can't let bygones be bygones and attempts to take out his cousin with the help of the London Fields gang, in a failed hit job.
7. Ra'Nell Smith

Summerhouse schoolboy Ra'Nell was the main protagonist of channel 4's Top Boy, although when the show was revived on Netflix, there was no indication of what happened to him in Season 3 and beyond.
On top of helping a neighbour to grow cannabis, Ra'Nell was a promising football player who took part in professional trials in season 2.
The real reason why Ra'Nell wasn't in the new Topboy is because Malcom Kamuelete declined to return in 2019.
6. Dris

In the first three seasons of Top Boy, Dris was one of the key players in the Summerhouse gang and close friends with Dushane and Sully. He was also the loving father of Erin (Savanah Graham).
However things went left for Dris' after his health deteriorated due to suffering a stroke and he was demoted by Dushane, after suffering multiple seizures whilst out dealing. Ultimately becoming a liability to Dushane's business.
Feeling disrespected, Dris ended up betraying his gang by giving information to their opps the London Fields gang. When Sully found out, he shot Dris 20 times on a rooftop.
5. Stefan Tovell

A character that grew before our eyes is Stefan, the youngest brother of the Tovell family. As an orphan, Stefan found himself under the legal care of his eldest brother, Jamie, until his brother's untimely death at the hands of Sully.
After Jamie is merked, we see Stefan become a man as he steps into Jamie's shoes and is roped into the the drug dealing world as a YG of the London Fields gang. In addition, Stefan gets into a relationship with Dris' daughter Erin due to a mutual dislike of Sully.
4. Jaq Lawrence

Second in command of the Summerhouse crew, Jaq earned Dushane and Sully's trust by being a no-nonsense dealer and running tings the right way.
Although she is often a bold and brash individual, Jaq has a soft spot for her loved ones, which is ultimately her biggest weakness.
Although Sully's killer is never revealed, Many believe Jaq is the one who shot and killed sully after he killed her best friend and threatened her life.
3. Dushane Hill

Best known as Asher D from So Solid Crew, Ashley Walters portrayed the notorious drug kingpin and Summerhouse gang leader, Dushane Hill, an ambitious character who set his sights on dominating the drugs market in East London.
As the main character, the show revolved around his sometimes chaotic string of wins and losses, as well as his fragile but ultimately co-dependent relationship with his right hand man, Sully, the man who would end him

Kane Robinson aka Kano plays Sully, a tough and tapped individual who was never one to shy away from conflict or violence. Simply put, Sully wanted all the smoke.
As Dushane's partner and childhood friend, Sully was a seasoned drug dealer and natural leader who was big on trust and loyalty and once it was violated, there was no turning back.
Sully was also a cold blooded killer with more bodies than a morgue, however his senseless killing also led to his overdue demise.
1. Jamie Tovell

The Top Boy of Season 3 was Jamie Towell, a crafty individual who balanced his responsibilities of being a legal guardian to his younger siblings and running the ZT crew, aka the London Fields gang.
Although Jamie was the main antagonist of Season 3 due to his deadly rivalry with Summerhouse and being top of the Hackney's drug scene during Dushane's absence, he became a fan favorite.
However the fourth series of Top Boy in early 2022 resulted in the death of Jamie at home in Summerhouse, after getting on Sully's wrong side.
He answered a knock at his front door while having dinner with his brothers, and was shot in the head at close range by the grim reaper himself, Sully.
